The man who learned how to lose
Tharan likes the sound of people calling his name on stage more than the sound of rain falling above the house. He was a coal transport boy in the ruins of Lightning City. My hand has black marks that can't be washed away. But when fighting and winning Viewers will forget which area he comes from. A boxing teacher teaches you to stand firm, breathe deeply, and know when to stop. He remembered the first two points well. As for the last point, I think it's a consolation for the loser.
He won until he received an armband to collect charges from the White Brand sponsor. Every punch had light. Every victory had a lump sum of money to take his mother out of the leaky motel room. Tharan saw tangible results. Therefore, we do not ask why the stage increased its discharge power beyond the specified limit. One of the fighters raised his hand to stop. But the boos from the audience were loud. He heard and then pretended not to hear. The next punch knocked his opponent down and he was unable to return to the ring.
The organizer wrote that the other party had the same disease. Tharan took the medal home and placed it face down. My mother only asked why my hand was still shaking even though I had won. He visited the man several times but did not dare enter. Until the daughter of the injured person found him in front of the room. She didn't ask for an autograph. She asked for help holding the tub of water because Dad couldn't hold it anymore. The light weight that day pressed his arm more than any opponent.
Tharan refunded the sponsor's money and allowed the records of the match to be released. He was banned from the stage where all his life used to be. So he went back to the boxing teacher who asked him to start by standing still. He couldn't stand it at first. The body wants to prove that it is still worthy. But the faster you move The charge from the armband accumulates until the heart beats irregularly. He must learn to defeat his limits before he can control his power.
His work in repairing community ground wires made him find strength useful without people applauding him. Tharan digs a hole Help drag metal bars And sit and listen to the younger technician give orders to fix the work. When lightning strikes the power supply tower He used his body to support the broken wire. But not keeping all the force in the fist. Sutures formed as he fired charges into the ground in a repetitive rhythm with his feet. He survived because he was willing to vent. It's not because I can endure it endlessly.
In the eighteenth year, he was hired to carry grounding rods to Arun Village and got stuck in front of the bridge. The uproar caused those who knew his name to ask him to punch his way through the soldiers to clear the way. Tharan saw the children squeezed behind the shield line. If he releases his full strength The doors may be open, but people will be packed in too. So he received the soldier's punch without retaliating. Give Nirach time to release the chain from inside.
When the water carried the energy core fragments from the checkpoint down Electric current spreads to the bridge railings. Tharan orders everyone to retreat. Then drive the metal rod into the ground. He took one step at a time. Drain the charge through your feet until the cuffs are cracked. The audience doesn't know what he's fighting against. Only Eirin saw her body temperature soar and helped open the outlet. After the event He lay panting on the mud. No one counted on him to win. But no more people were electrocuted.
When Aran invites you to join Tharan tells about the opponent before the skill. He asked to continue sending part of his wages to the family. And ask a friend to help you notice if he starts chasing after the cheering and forgets the person in front of him. Malin checked his heart and determined the rest periods he had to obey. No matter how close the battle is to the end He accepted that condition like accepting a lesson the teacher had given him long ago.
The new grounding armband does not have a sponsor insignia. There are only grooves to insert the drain hose and marks to indicate the level at which to stop. Tharan teaches new members how to fall safely before throwing punches. Some kids laughed that falling practice wasn't exciting. He laughed too. And said that those who can get up and go back to eat still have a chance to study everything tomorrow.
Morning of departure The old opponent sent a short message saying that the money had been received. And still don't want to meet Tharan carefully folded the letter up. He wasn't angry, he wasn't claiming how much he had changed. Before moving forward with the united front He placed the championship medal on the teacher's desk. and choose to carry a grounding repair tool kit instead This time, he wanted to be the person his friends could safely stand beside. Even on the day his punches didn't beat anyone.
